Errors & Warnings
When something goes wrong with a record — an inbox that fails to verify, a job feed that could not sync, a promotion the channel rejected, an action that errored, a message that was not delivered — Applyfin attaches an error to that record. Problems that need attention but did not stop anything are attached as a warning.
You see them in two places:
- On the record's page as a red (error) or orange (warning) banner at the top.
- In lists as a small red or orange icon next to the record's status; hover it to read the details.
Both show the summary, a message and, where available, a hint on how to resolve it. Lists of inboxes, feeds, agents and actions can also be filtered on the Error and Warning status to find everything that needs attention.
Repeated failures
A record only ever shows its latest open error and latest open warning. If the same failure happens again while it is still open, it is not reported twice: the existing entry is updated and a counter (for example 12×) shows how many times it occurred, together with when it last happened.
Dismissing
Dismissing an error or warning removes it from the record and from the Error / Warning status filters. Use the close button on the banner or in the hover card.
Viewing the trace
Errors carry the technical details behind them: the response the external service returned, the input that was sent, and the stack trace. These are not loaded with the record; click Trace on the banner or in the hover card to open them. This is what to share with the Applyfin team when you ask for help with a failure.
Warnings do not have a trace.
